What is the Financial Peace Course?

The Financial Peace course is a six-week course that goes through the Financial Peace University curriculum created by Dave Ramsey. This course provides practical tools and biblical teaching on how we are meant to steward our finances. In this class, you will learn how to pay off debt, budget, save money, and give generously. We will take you through 9 steps that, combined together, will help you become financially independent. We believe that developing community within the course is instrumental and that this will be a community you can lean on in your financial and spiritual journey. Nearly 6 million people have gone through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and have learned the proven plan to pay off debt, save for emergencies, and build wealth.

About Our Facilitators:

Ellie and Parker are a married couple that have been members here at My City Church for four years. Parker is from Omaha, NE and Ellie is from Norfolk, NE. After moving to Omaha from Lincoln, Ellie and Parker joined My City and have not looked back. Parker is currently a Director at Spreetail and Ellie is an Audiologist at Boys Town. They have had their ups and downs in finances and are confident that those who join the class can learn from them. They have helped millions of people get out of debt and build wealth over the last 40 years. We are so grateful and excited to have them!
