Welcome! My name is Makenzie Logan, and I am the Director of NEXT Class at My City Church as well as the facilitator for the Following Jesus Course! I will walk you through everything you need to know about this amazing course. Now, let’s answer some of your questions!
What is the Following Jesus Course?
The Following Jesus Course is designed to help guide people to a strong foundation in Christ! Through 7 essentials, covered in 3 sessions, this Course helps you move from just knowing Jesus to following Him. This Course is designed to be a next steps guide for your life in Christ. You will learn about the foundational principles and practical application of prayer, worship, water baptism, the Holy Spirit, church community, sharing your faith, and loving people as a follower of Christ. We will offer you a bible plan, prayer plan, and other resources to kick start your faith journey. This is a discussion-based course where you can freely and openly share, ask questions, and grow deeper in your knowledge and understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.
Who can take this Course?
This course is designed for people who are new to Christianity, have recently rededicated their lives to Christ, or someone who is wanting to build a stronger foundation in their Christian walk. If you have questions about your faith and certain aspects of Christianity, then this is the course for you!
What can I expect to gain from taking this Course?
