Majority rules when truth is silent

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night." Psalm 1:1-2 (NIV)

If people were trying to trap Jesus, the devil will try to trap you.

"But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?" Matthew 22:18 (NIV)

Is the Bible enough?

How many books do you need to be able to relate? The Bible is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The basis of how we treat people is from the Word of God. Education is important, but it does not supersede the Bible.

"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." Hosea 4:6a (NIV)

What informs my thinking? Who informs my thinking? What do you believe about God when it comes to racism?

"What I believe about God is the most important thing about me." ~ A.W. Tozer

Pastor Eli shares more in depth on this topic of racism by looking at where we all came from - Noah and his sons (Genesis 10:1). The names of Noah's sons are prophetic.

Shem = "name" & "brown."

Ham = "hot" & "black"

Japheth = "fair" & "light skinned"

God created us all to have uniqueness in appearance. God didn't create a racial divide - He created diversity. Here are seven things racism is and what is does given biblical support:

-Racism is pure evil (Romans 12:9-10)

-Racism is pure self-righteousness (Luke 18:11)

-Racism violates the great commission (Matthew 28:18)

-Racism violates the great commandment (John 13:34)

-Racism questions God's creation (Acts 17:26)

-Racism questions God's plan (Revelation 5:9)

-Racism questions God (John 3:16)

"God is in the business of reuniting people unto Himself." ~ Pastor Eli Nelson
"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands" Revelation 7:9 (NIV)
