Day 12: C3 Movement

God's Kingdom is worldwide

“Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ (‭NLT)‬‬

We all play a massive part in building the Kingdom of God

You read in Ephesians 4 that “…we are to equip and build people to do His work and build up the church.” And that’s exactly what My City Church (You/We) are doing! The beautiful part about that is we aren’t doing it alone! We have been blessed to partner with C3 Church to help equip “the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.”

What is C3? 

C3 Church Global is an international movement of churches founded by Phil and Chris Pringle in 1980. The C3 global movement continues to expand and is now made up of over 500 churches in 64 countries, and they are continuing to see God’s love and power stretch across the globe. From Australia to Kazakhstan, from Sweden to Brazil, and New York to Omaha, Nebraska!

As the body, let's continue to push the church forward and bring glory to God in all that we do in our city, in our nation, and in the world!

Lord, we pray for the many pastors and leaders in the C3 movement. We pray for protection over their families. I pray that we would have unity in our faith, our cities, and our churches. Keep us accountable and wise. Allow each and every person who is part of the C3 movement to flourish and be filled with the love of Christ. Lord, we pray for Pastor Phil and Chris as they continue to spearhead a worldwide movement of spreading the gospel. Lord, we pray for our Pastors Eli and Kelly, that you would continue to bless them as they lead us here in Omaha, Nebraska. Thank you, Lord, for what you’re doing in the C3 Global Movement and we are excited to see all the amazing things you’ll continue to do. In Jesus' name. Amen.
