My City Church is on the move!
Since our initial launch in 2017, My City Church has been mobile - moving between different venues across the Omaha area to best suit our needs as a church and the needs of the people we serve. As we are still faithfully believing and praying for a permanent location, God has continued to open doors for us to move into new spaces to reach new people. In preparation for this transition, we are here to answer your most frequently asked questions.
You have questions, we have answers!
1. Where are we moving?
We are moving to Ralston High School! The address is 8969 Park Dr, Ralston, NE 68127. My City Church will only be moving five minutes further west from their previous campus location at Liberty First Credit Union Arena (previously known as Ralston Arena).
2. When are we moving?
Our first Sunday at Ralston High School will be May 15th, 2022. Mark your calendars!
3. What time are services?
Our Sunday service times will be changing from 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM to 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. These new service times will grant us the flexibility to have more time in between services to not only flip the auditorium and prepare for the next service, but also to spend more time fellowshipping with our friends and family!
4. What should we expect for the new Kids space?
*Drum roll please* All Kids ministry areas will be in the same building as our adult services! This means, Your family, one house. No more driving your children to another building for church! Everyone will be in the same building, under the same roof. More details to come for what our Kids spaces will look like! It's going to be amazing!
5. Why are we moving?
We have been blessed by all of the opportunities our former location has provided us. However, there were some significant limitations that did impact our families and team members on a Sunday morning. God opened this door for our church to move into a space that is much more family friendly and team member friendly. Although this is still not our permanent home, God has been faithful to open doors for us every step of the way. We are believing that the best is truly yet to come!
6. I still have questions...
More detailed information will be coming out within the next week, so stay tuned! If you are a member of Team My City, make sure to check Slack often and reach out to your leader if you have any specific questions regarding your service area.
