The Father's Heart

“Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” Romans 12:2

In week 2 of The Truth Project series, Pastor Eli continues to share about how world views are opposing the truth of God’s Word.

He also spoke about being open to God working in us as we navigate these world views and cling to the words God has already spoken in the Bible. As Pastor Eli says, “I am not here to convince you of a biblical worldview. I am not here to say: I’m right, you’re wrong. I am here to say: ‘Have you ever considered?'”

“God’s nature determines truth.” Pastor Eli

This week Pastor Eli focused on the dynamic of the family, which is an imprint of God’s design and follows the nature of God- which is good. Also, in the spirit of Father’s Day, he talks about manhood and how fathers are to lead their family, as it is evident in the Bible. For a quick summary, here is list of what My City Men pray for at Men’s Prayer, that highlights the roles of men:

LEADER MAN: Lead your life and your family

FAITH MAN: Guard your family

GENEROUS MAN: Living in eternity

WISDOM MAN: Lean on God

MIRACLE MAN: Conduits for God

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” Luke 15:20 – The Parable of the Prodigal Son
We pray this sermon blessed you as much as it blessed us, and if you missed us...
