We are better when we come together
This week we heard an encouraging word from Pastor Eli Nelson out of the book of Nehemiah. God speaks to each of us through the burden He places on our hearts. Nehemiah had a burden for the people of God, and he fought to rebuild the walls of the city and stand in the gap for the people.
"God speaks through a person before He starts a movement. We are called to be available for God." ~ Pastor Eli Nelson
What you are a part of is bigger than the part you play.
Be aware: God has given you a burden for the people around you. In your home, your family, your workplace - all around you there are people who need the hope and light of Jesus. And you carry that power within you. Thankfully, you are not alone in your burden. Together, we can impact the lives of the people of this city. The part you play matters.

Rise up and rebuild
Rebuilding is harder than building from scratch because we have to work with what is and remove what was. We need to reevaluate the state of the structure. Ask yourself: What do I need to remove before God can rebuild?
Ephesians 6:10-20 challenges us that in order to play our part in rebuilding His church, we must be aware of the forces against us.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
United we stand. Divided we fall. Together we can.
