Our values

A house built on a firm foundation.

United In Jesus
We are united under no other name, but the name of Jesus. More than any method or personal preference, we are focused on Jesus and His message and the great commission.
Connect-driven In Nature
Our passion is to connect with people. We make no apologies for being focused on reaching the lost. We go out of our way to create an atmosphere where others can belong, believe, and be transformed.
Faith-filled In Confession
We look into the future with great expectation. We honor the past, but are most loyal to our future. Our language is full of faith knowing that the best is yet to come!
Passionate In Expression
Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service, we do it with energy. Passion drives us - Passion for Jesus, Passion for people, Passion for His church.
GENEROUS IN ACTION
We let our actions show our generosity. We’re generous with our time, talents, and resources. We understand that God’s church moves forward when we lead the way in generosity.
EXCELLENT IN SPIRIT
We’re going to always do the best with what we have. We’re on time, engaged, and prepared. We pay attention to the details. If we’re going to do it, it’s to the best of our ability.
LEADERS IN LIFE
We believe in the leadership potential of every person. We take every opportunity to raise up the next generation of leaders. We are spirit empowered leaders. Leadership is not something we do, leadership is who we are.

My City Church exists to lift up Jesus in our city by loving people and empowering leaders in every sphere of life.

Meet our Pastors.

Meet our Lead Pastors, Eli and Kelly Nelson. The Nelsons have been a part of My City Church since our launch back in 2017. Pastors Eli and Kelly have four beautiful children, Evalyn (Eva), Winston (Winnie), Eleanor (Nora), and Margaret (Mags). They fully live out every value and belief of our church and contend continuously for the city of Omaha.

Exceedingly caring, faithful, humble, and generous are just a few words they live out every day of their lives. We could not be more excited for them to be a part of our story, and this is only the beginning!
